Earthbound?!? What is that?!
Heya! So, you've stumbled across my humble Earthbound page, and suddenly you realize you don't know what any of this is about? Well, hopefully this small area can shine a little light on your predicament.
Let's start with the basics:
  • So... What is Earthbound??
    Earthbound is a role playing game (rpg) developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)


  • Who are Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo?
    Well, they are the main characters in this great little RPG. Ness is the leader of the group, he's from a small area north of the city of Onett. Paula is the second character you get along the way, she's from Twoson, just to the south of Onett. Jeff is the inventor/fixer guy of the group, he lives in a boy's home in Winters. Prince Poo is the prince of Dalaam, he's the last guy to join your group and he has, in my opinion, the best PSI attack.

  • What is the point of this game?
    Ok, I'll try to explain a little, real quick. You're a young boy, a bee comes from the future and tells you that you and three others are going you have to fight a really powerful superbeing named Giygas so you go find the other three people and try to defeat him, along the way you fight hippies, flowers, moles, rats, and stuff... That doesn't explain everything, but at least it was quick...

  • What?! It's an RPG, right? But... there's no ogres, dragons, and witches... How could that be...? Are you sure?
    Um... yes. You're right. And yes, I'm sure.

  • Isn't there some kind of law governing what has to be in an RPG?
    Nope.

  • Why would I want to spend hours of my life playing this game? How can I get some proof its a kewl game...?
    Well, besides playing it yourself to see? How about checking out The old Earthbound.net Its now Starmen.net, but its still about EB... check it out (even though I still haven't been added to their links page... =P )

  • If this game is so awesome like you say why havent they made a sequel?
    ...That's a good question!

    Um... I know, I still haven't gotten around to completeing this section, but at least the link works now....
